As a result of this pressure, many journalists can only solve problems by reducing reports, deleting information or fleeing the country.However, these actions will cause great damage to Afghanistan's media freedom and the press industry. Take Mohammad Aliyas Dayee as an example, a reporter of Deutsche Press Radio was found killed at home in November 2021, indicating a serious deterioration of press freedom and security in Asia in recent years. He died several days ago when he was found, and his face was cut when he was found. It is reported that his relatives have been threatened by the Taliban. In response to these incidents, CPJ called on the Afghan authorities to take urgent action to protect the right to freedom of the press.
